Physical Symptoms

  • Painful stinging itch on arms, legs, upper back, and/or abdomen.
  • Raised bumps or nodules on areas of the skin accessible to scratching.
  • Persistent itch that lasts at least 6 weeks.
  • Continued scratching may result in the bumps you see on your skin and can cause burning, stinging, bleeding, and scarring.
